SpreadWise was founded by Alex and Wayne Goldstein — who saw firsthand how limited and outdated traditional liquidity solutions had become. Frustrated by the lack of tax-aware borrowing options for their clients, they built SpreadWise to bring institutional-grade tools like box spreads into the hands of modern advisors.

Their mission is simple: empower advisors with smarter planning solutions that preserve AUM, protect portfolios, and put you — not a bank or custodian — in control.

Alex Goldstein

Co-Founder & CEO

Alex has led growth initiatives for RIA channels at Autopilot, a prominent investment technology platform, and previously served as Vice President of Wealth Management at Chesapeake Asset Management. He began his career at Merrill Lynch and UBS, specializing in executive compensation planning, concentrated equity strategies, and tax-efficient portfolio construction. He holds a degree from Florida State University, where he graduated Cum Laude.

Raul Henriquez

Co-Founder & CRO

Raul has over a decade of experience in venture capital and early-stage investing. As a Partner at Medina Ventures, he leads deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio strategy. He previously co-led investments at Candor Ventures, a venture studio focused on building and funding early-stage startups with embedded technical teams. Earlier in his career, he held operating roles at Cameo and Represent.com. Raul holds a Bachelor of Science from Babson College.

Peter Larsen

Co-Founder & CTO

Peter is a serial entrepreneur with over seven years of experience building technology for early-stage startups. He founded DevBase, a software staffing company that scaled to over 140 employees and was acquired by Fintech Automation in 2021. As Managing Partner at Candor Ventures, he co-led investments and operational support across a portfolio of early-stage companies. Most recently, he spent three years developing financial technology infrastructure at Fintech Automation.

Wayne Goldstein

Co-Founder & COO

Wayne brings 30-plus years at the crossroads of healthcare and finance, specializing in options trading, derivatives strategy, and capital markets. He worked at institutions, including Merrill Lynch, and has led acquisitions and strategic partnerships for diverse healthcare organizations. A former board-certified foot-and-ankle surgeon, Wayne blends clinical insight with rigorous financial analysis on every initiative.

Nimit Savani

Trading Specialist

Nimit Savani has over 20 years of experience in equity derivatives and trading desk management in New York. Nimit served as the Head of Derivatives and ETF Trading at Lighthouse Financial Group and Director of the Equities Derivatives Group at Louis Capital Markets. He was a senior equity derivatives trader at Tahoe Trading and Botta Capital Management, focusing on volatility and dispersion portfolio management.

Nicholas Gura

Trading Specialist

Nicholas has over 25 years of experience in equity derivatives, with deep expertise in structuring volatility strategies and managing concentrated equity positions. He actively manages a single-stock options portfolio focused on asymmetric risk-reward trades with clearly defined downside. Earlier in his career, Nicholas traded equity options on the American Stock Exchange with firms including Dritz, Goldring & Wohlreich and STR Trading Partners.
